I need to see this movie more than ive ever needed to see one in my entire life. im actually dying every moment i go without having seen it. thats probably a bit much but i dont think john keats would think so

Ok so i promised a post about stuff i bought a while back ... not that anybody cares .... well here it is. for my peace of mind:

this is my 'waiting for godot' bowler hat cos everything about it reminds me of the play by samuel beckett. (seriously check it out, its so bizarre and absurd and cold war era-esque)

I've had this a while now, i got it somewhere in ... actually i cant remember where i got it but the shop was amazing. hope i remember where it was so i can go again :)

but i loves it, i loves it a lot

Meet 'simon' and 'garfunkle' my new brogues (lol do u get it omg im so funny) but yeah i loves them too :D. at first they gave me heinous blisters but now they're cool.

well of course they're cool .... hah

not a good picture of it i accidently deleted the others but anyway this is my telephone bag. i got it from dangerfield and it is the butt of endless un-funny jokes like 'sarah ur bags ringing' 'whats that noise, oh its just her bag' ahahaha wow ur all so funny .... eh. but its so worth, i mean c'mon, look at it :D

And heres my new wallet. im pretty sure im going to die from all the rust inside it but whatever. also worth it. i got it at the surry hills markets and one guy was selling a slightly less rusty one for $15 while another guy at a stall pretty much next door was selling it for $6? what the hell but yeah :)

a girl in borders complimented me on it today. she was all 'cool wallet' and i couldnt think of anything to say so i go 'thanks ... i know' ....

i also bought two dresses, ones a floral maternity dress (lol it doesnt look it i promise) and then theres this size 20 'fat person dress' i got from vinnies (thats what my mum calls it, she got so mad when i showed it to her but i shortened it today and wore it with a belt, my brown ray-bans, simon and garfunkle and black socks and my mum goes 'oh ..' it was classic ... another win for me)

eh no pictures, u can just imagine what they looks like in ur heads, exercise ur mind a little :)

oh and musical afterthought of today: animal collective's new song! (weeeeeee) "what would i want? sky" (its on their myspace)

First Love

There was a time once in my life where i could watch any paris, milan, new york or london fashion week show and tell you the name of every single model that came down the catwalk. i miss those days, but school seems to have taken over and i found that music became a bigger part of my life leaving less time for other things. i guess because it was much less unattainable than what i saw every month in vogue. its sad really. i hope i get back to that place once more again some day.

but the point is i had a favourite and anyone who knew me between the years of 2004 and 2008 knew that i loved the australian model gemma ward:

i used to have arguments with people who said she looked like an alien.

i used to tell myself id marry one of her younger twin brothers so that i could be her sister.

i even knew that her best model friends were daria werbowy and lily donaldson:

it was an obsession to say the least which i grew out of. i wonder though, had she not given up modeling, would i still be obsessed with her?

So this post is a tribute to her. these are a few of my favourite pictures of her. i have memories attached to each of them, i could never explain it all to you. i doubt you'd understand.

well im done now anyway. she was in the black ballon which i never even saw (i think i was worried shed suck and id lose respect for her)and then i heard she was doing some charity work in africa with her dad. kudos to her and alsorts but still trust haha
