Skeleton Tiger

"Now that all these walls are down, Wonder what I'll tell you" - Skeleton Tiger, Tame Impala

So, heres my first blog {took me long enough} :). I have no idea where to start, there's too much to think about. Maybe Ill start with my day. Well I watched Valkyrie, I cried, but just before the ending my friend called which meant that I postponed the characters inevitable deaths with the magical pause button. She asked if she should call back later but I said no, it meant that they stayed alive at least a little bit longer. I ended up never seeing the end, I couldn't bring myself to watch it, so for me, they're all still alive.

I'm trying good grammar but I give up. starting now.

Today my mum also said something quite profound, that if i had been conceived at any other time, in any other month, i would have been a completely different person. isn't that strange? I could have missed out on life by four weeks, possibly less. Its more likely that I would have never existed than it was that I do. Its crazy ........

Does that makes sense to you?

Anyway, heres some stuff that makes me happy. Enjoy:

(this guy can't not make you happy)

And this man especially makes me happy, well him and his band and their whole way of life. Or at least the way of life I imagine that they live. Regrettably I don't know them that well. His name is Dominic Simper of Tame Impala, who I recently saw live at the Oxford Art Factory (a mystical, musical place). I stood right in front of his bass guitar and his person, smiling, and he smiled back at me. At the end I gave him a yellow flower to say thank you. If i could wish one thing right now it would be that he had kept that flower and remembers the person who gave it to him.

The whole band:

- drummer Jay who reminds me of a really tall, human bambi.

- Dom (my soul mate, enough said)

- Nick, the little one that only plays with them during live shows, guitar and percussion and stuff, hes ... alternative .... to say the least, he wore a pajama shirt at the concert.

- lead singer/guitarist Kevin who reminds me of this cool, very mellow/hippie sloth
